In addition to expanding our team with a new junior associate, Vallillee Family Lawyers is also hiring for the position of Senior Family Law Associate, with a projected start date of mid-March to mid-April of 2024. The successful candidate will have either strong family-law focused experience of at least 3 years in family law, or a combination of family and other litigation-focused experience of at least five years together. Child protection/CAS experience and interest is an asset but not required. The ideal candidate will be eager to work as a part of a small, close-knit team.

This is a salaried, full-time employment opportunity. As an associate at Vallillee Family Lawyers who brings experience to the table, you will need to be ready take on new files which we will supply to you immediately.
We take on divorce, separation, child protection/CAS and other family-related litigation and contractual matters. You will have the opportunity to explore your various professional interests across the different areas of family practice, and will have the mentorship and guidance of a well-known and respected member of London’s family law bar.
What you bring to the table:
- Member in good standing with the LSO
- JD or LLB from a recognized/accredited common law program
- Entitlement to work in Canada
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- 1-3 years experience in family law (articling experience is acceptable and counted)
- Ability and willingness to work in person on a regular basis
What we bring to the table:
- Salary: Starting between $80,000 - $120,000 depending on expected billables and experience.
- First salary review after six months, followed by annual salary reviews based on performance.
